Description

PURPOSE

This procedure defines and details the function, reporting relationships, responsibilities, duties and expectations of performance of the Marketing Operations Coordinator.

BASIC FUNCTION

The basic function of the Marketing Operations Coordinator is to support the Marketing Operations Manager, marketing project coordination, and coordinate with related departments to better support marketing executions and product launches. Assist Marketing Operations Manager with Custom product lines, POP, brand assets/displays and apparel sales assets.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

The Marketing Operations Coordinator – reports to Marketing Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for:

Marketing Operations Support

• Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials including POP, displays and product catalogs.
• Support Photo Sample and occasionally media sample preparation for other marketing teams.
• Support special order entry requests from related marketing teams.
• General administrative support for marketing managers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Media, Warehouse Operations and Tour Department to deliver on Marketing projects and initiatives.
• Assist with creation and upkeep of Custom Catalog info/data/pricing/upcharges.
• Assist with execution of events such as trade shows, sales conferences, and key account training seminars.
• Maintaining Marketing office showroom and studio and tracking of Marketing Operations assets such as in-office displays, samples, hardware, and supplies.

Ecommerce/Website Support

• Assist in managing data and uploads of head, shaft, grip options, setup info, pricing/upcharges, and inventory availability to web team. Ensure correct settings and implementation.
• Miscellaneous project management and data management support related to website working with other marketing management.

Administrative

• Support Sales team members in finding and delivering the right sales assets for customer opportunities.
• Assist with BOMs/PSRs/CSRs and item number setups with data entry/planning/sales teams.
• Assist in managing custom “configurator” setups and limitations with data entry team.
• Support item number additions/changes to US sales company.

TRAVEL

Moderate travel should be expected.

EXPECATIONS AND MEASUREMENTS OF PERFORMANCE

Marketing Operations Coordinator of Dunlop Sports Americas will be deemed to be performing in a satisfactory manner when the following are being accomplished:

• Deadlines: Projects and tasks are effectively managed through completion in a timely fashion deadlines/milestones are met.
• Communication: All information, reports, and progress associated with projects and executions are communicated effectively with stakeholders.
• Quality of work: Content created is free from errors and aligned with brand position and strategy.
• Teamwork: projects and interactions with colleagues are constructive, collaborative, professional, respectful, and effective.
• Employee development and attitude: Employee shows growth in job knowledge, versatility, communication, and marketing skill. Continues to proactively handle responsibilities.

All of the expectations outlined above will be monitored by comparative assessments, interviews with managers/colleagues/direct reports, and evaluation by supervisor. When possible, objective quantitative measures will be used.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• 1-2 years related work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
• Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Adaptability in dynamic work environment
• Golf and/or golf equipment expertise.
