Dune Deck Beach Club is Hiring a Member Services Supervisor Near Westhampton, NY

This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach New York.
Dune Deck Beach Club is seeking a Front Services Supervisor to join the Member Services Department.
The Front Services Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing staff that interact with our members and guests when arriving to the main Clubhouse or Golf outlets. The Front Services Supervisor will ensure optimal member experience and service. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain service standards and expectations for all Team Members within the department.
  • Welcoming Members, Guests, Visitors, and/or Vendors.
  • Provide instructions regarding the amenities of the unit, property services and activities provided for Members to use.
  • Drive/park/retrieve all types of passenger vehicles (including those with automatic or manual transmissions and golf carts). Will assist Members and Guests with complementary electrical charging of vehicle(s), as needed.
  • Assist Members with directions, and arranging of transportation (e.g., to and from the airport, golf cart rentals, etc.). Record advance transportation request as needed; communicate parking procedures, including assigned spaces, open parking spaces and operating procedures with Visitor parking at CTS.
  • Report any problems or unusual activities to appropriate Team Leaders, by being a Safety & Security advocate. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Team Members, Members, immediate Family, Guests and Visitors.
  • Oversee the overall experience for Guests in the Rental Program, direct point of contact during their stay.
  • Manage the Front Services inbox by acknowledging and responding to all email correspondences and inquires.
  • Identify and implement standard operating procedures and department polices and provide necessary training, implementation and evaluation.
  • Review daily report and daily checklist to ensure all daily checklist items are complete from the previous shift.
  • Coach and develop Team Members when performance standards are not met or fall below expectations, providing disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Create weekly schedule for department to ensure accurate coverage based on requests for time off and unexpected call outs.
  • Monitor and issue attendance infraction in accordance with department policy.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Member Services to manage the monthly budget and variance reports for the Front Services team.
  • Additional Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior Management experience and proven success in the hospitality or service industry is strongly preferred.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to maintain a polished posture and appearance. Maintain personal and professional radio etiquette, while ensuring radio kit and earpiece are always in proper use.

  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
