Dunbar Security Solutions is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Hunt Valley, MD
- Account Payable – Receives, acquires management approvals, codes payables to respective accounts, generates payment and, when necessary, investigates client’s account payable invoices.
- Account Receivable – Posts account receivable in the accounting system, deposits accounts receivable into the appropriate account and communicates with clients any collection issues.
- Invoicing – Assists with preparing and sending invoices to customers.
- Payroll – Provides assistance and support as needed.
- Process expense reports in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Assists with monthly reconciliations and closing.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience plus four years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
