Job purpose
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department. Duties and responsibilities
The Human Resource Assistant works closely with the HR Manager, Management, Supervisors and employees of all positions. The Human Resource Assistant will participate in New Hire Orientation with truck drivers and support staff in a classroom setting, attend Job Fairs and Recruitment Functions, and work on a daily basis with employee files, compliance and employee relations.

The Human Resource Assistant will work the majority of the time in an office setting with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time. Travel and working in various locations are occasional and required.
