Dumplin’s Bistro Preps ensure the highest quality food is served at all times. The ideal candidate will accept responsibility for all aspects of their kitchen duties and cooking station – sets up, stocks product, cooks, and presents dishes according to Dumplin’s Bistro & Bakery recipes.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Follows sanitation standards and procedures complying with legal regulations.
Production of hot and cold dishes according to predetermined recipes. Portioning and attractive preparation of dishes.
Provides foodstuff and utensils for Kitchen Manager by carrying pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators.
Maintains food quality by storing food in designated areas, minimizing spoilage.
Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day.
Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good verbal communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis.
Must be flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands.
Dependable transportation.
Minimum 1-year restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
Lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
Dependable transportation.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
