401(k) Match Profit-sharing program Are you ready to challenge the expected to deliver the extraordinary? Compiles a variety of electronic medical documents from various hospital portals and prepares them for coding staff.
Provide clerical support to Coding & Reimbursement staff. Responsibilities The Journeys and Adventures that Await Primary Duties and Responsibilities : Creates pull list for surgical cases to be coded.
Search electronic portals of various hospitals to locate, print and organize electronic medical documents for coding staff.
Identifies and updates pulled surgical cases in electronic charge capture system. Incorporates surgical assistant billing into appropriate case / batch.
Monitors completion of physician queries by utilizing hospital portals Monitors status of missing pathology reports utilizing hospital portals.
Completes and faxes any outside surgical assistant billing to their billing service. Scans and indexes coded batches into electronic storage.
Distributes interoffice mail to Central Coding staff. Distributes departmental supplies into the designated areas. Performs other projects and duties related to department objectives.
Qualifications The Experiences You Bring Education and / or Training Required : High school graduate or GED. Experience Requirements : Must have computer skills;
Knowledge of the appearance of different types of electronic health record documents; Ability to efficiently search electronic databases and retrieve documents.
