Duran Golf Club is accepting applications for full-time Golf Course Maintenance- willing to train the right candidate. The golf grounds crew reports to the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent and is responsible for performing all work details related to general golf course maintenance and for operating all maintenance equipment. Essential Responsibilities:Operate all turf mowing equipment for grooming of turf area such as greens, collars, approaches, tees, fairways, roughs, clubhouse and all common grounds areas as defined throughout the propertyRepair ball marks on greens and fill divots in fairways and tee topsChange cups, rotate tee markers and service all course accessoriesRake and maintain sand in bunker floorsEdge bunkers, cart paths and curbs throughout golf course and parking lotEdge and groom around irrigation sprinklers, value boxes and yardage markersTopdress, verti-groom and verti-cut greensContinually monitor and remove loose debris and trash throughout the courseRotate course signage such as cart directional signs, ropes and stakes for cart traffic controlTrim trees, groom native plants and hedges and change out flower beds throughout the course Requirements:High School diploma preferredGolf course maintenance experience preferred but not required- willing to trainKnowledge of hazards and safety precautions in work activitiesAbility to communicate effectively in a positive and helpful manner with staff, coworkers, guests, and customers, visitors, and management in all aspects of the jobExcellent team player Applicants may also apply in-person at:Duran Golf Club - 7032 Stadium Parkway Viera, FL 32940 If you possess these qualifications and are ready to take the next step in your career with an organization that takes pride in its employees and the work that we do in the community, please apply in confidence by sending a cover letter and resume including salary requirements.
