Duran Golf Club is accepting applications for full-time Golf Course Maintenance- willing to train the right candidate. The golf grounds crew reports to the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent and is responsible for performing all work details related to general golf course maintenance and for operating all maintenance equipment.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate all turf mowing equipment for grooming of turf area such as greens, collars, approaches, tees, fairways, roughs, clubhouse and all common grounds areas as defined throughout the property
• Repair ball marks on greens and fill divots in fairways and tee tops
• Change cups, rotate tee markers and service all course accessories
• Rake and maintain sand in bunker floors
• Edge bunkers, cart paths and curbs throughout golf course and parking lot
• Edge and groom around irrigation sprinklers, value boxes and yardage markers
• Topdress, verti-groom and verti-cut greens
• Continually monitor and remove loose debris and trash throughout the course
• Rotate course signage such as cart directional signs, ropes and stakes for cart traffic control
• Trim trees, groom native plants and hedges and change out flower beds throughout the course

Requirements:

• High School diploma preferred
• Golf course maintenance experience preferred but not required- willing to train
• Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions in work activities
• Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and helpful manner with staff, coworkers, guests, and customers, visitors, and management in all aspects of the job
• Excellent team player
