Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

- Managing, execute and support the development, analysis and growth of ALI Dealer and Client Field Team “Engagement Analytics.”

- Much like a marketing analytics position, this business analyst will be responsible for monthly attendee metrics, developing analysis to identify and understand attendee trends with a goal to increase attendance.

Reason/motivation for request:

Our department’s interaction with dealers and internal field personnel is critical for the success of Clients Digital products. Engagement of these teams is measured, but not to the extent that it could be. With better analysis of engagement of our dealers in events, trainings, etc… we’ll be able to identify areas of improvement and prioritize how our deployment teams spend precious resources.

Job Duties:

· Analysis of business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision makers

· Works directly with business partners to understand informational needs and create reporting/visualization solutions that turn data into critical information to ultimately drive business decisions

· Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

· Participate in cross functional teams to address business issues.

· Prototypes solutions for displaying information based on business needs. Prototype, develop, rapidly iterate, test, and deploy into production automated reporting solutions

Demonstrates knowledge and ability to handle basic issues independently
· Present insights outputs to leaders and advisors,

· Locating and obtaining data from various internal and external sources

· Potential to perform other job duties as assigned by Clients management from time to time.

· Incorporate statistical methods and/or digital methods to solve business problems

Participate on 2-3 projects concurrently
Education & Experience Required:

· Bachelor's degree & 2-4 years of business insights and visualization experience, or Master’s degree & 1-2 years of business insights and visualization experience,

· Fields of study include computer science, business, mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering or in a related field

Technical Skills

Top Candidates will have:

· 2 years of experience in design and prototyping dynamic views and visualizations for large and complex data sets in Tableau and/or Power BI

· 2 years of practical experience delivering production deployed solutions

· Visual design expertise & passion for graphic design

· Working knowledge of one or more programming languages

· Experience with data structures using SQL

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Management studio, R, SQL, DevOps, Excel, Alteryx, Snowflake is a plus

· Design thinking experience

· UI/UX experience
