DSD Services is Hiring a Route Sales Representative Near San Marcos, TX

Experience in business to business delivery is highly recommended.
We are a regional C-store distribution company, operating in Texas and adjacent states. We deliver candy, meat snacks, nuts, toys and other sundries to locally owned and independently operated convenience stores. We also operate a candy packing facility and provide our exclusive brands, available only through us.
What we do: We work Monday to Friday, no weekends. We make 8 to 10 stops per day, with a goal of finishing in 8 hours. There is no paperwork. The computer does all that work, and also makes the orders. The product is stored within 10 minutes of the rep. At each stop, we take the inventory, we check in the order and merchandise it, then collect the money. We provide excellent service to our customers, because they expect it. We are the best at what we do. We expect our reps to be the best as well.
What we don't do: We don't work 12 or 14 hour shifts. We don't haul in hundreds of pounds of low-cost merch, like beverages. We don't drive heavy equipment. We use normal vans, no CDL required. We don't work more than 5 days per week. We don't work weekends. We are not your typical C-store distributor.
What we need: We need a route driver in the San Marcos area that has experience with C-stores. We need a person with a great driving record who is excited about dealing with independent C-store owners and making sure they are happy every time we make our deliveries. We need a person capable of handling issues face-to-face and able to get this work done without supervision. There is no supervisor on site. Supervisors do assist with issues over the phone if necessary. We need a person capable of maintaining fantastic service on this well-established route.
