Warehouse Product Manager
Contacts:
- GPC/RPC Distribution (Warehouse), Local Warehouse and Distribution teams and organizations.
- External IT vendors, editors, service providers
- Product Designers, Products Managers, Platform managers, Domain Managers, Architects, APS Execution leads
- Define and maintain the Warehouse product vision & road-map
- Manage, Refines and prioritizes the product backlog on the long run
- Contribute to value case definition, product team orchestration and change management to users and partners
- Interact with Execution Platform manager and architects to translate Business capabilities into solution capabilities relevant for Warehouse responsibilities. Define changes for existing products and new products needed
- Define Product vision and road map for Warehouse tasks, consistent with Platform road map.
- Ensure Product road map agreement on business/IM&T strategy & priorities.
- Contribute to Execution Platform Portfolio definition
- Identify existing and potential Business stakeholders and ensure Business Mobilization on projects affecting Warehouse function.
- Contribute to the scoping exercise by collecting requirements, proposing best on-market / technology trends and assessing impacts on Warehouse applications and their road map.
- Challenge requirements to make sure the validated priorities will maximize the value for Warehouse function and are following the product road map.
- Drive/Contribute to the definition and scoring of value case with the expected benefits ( Goal & essential success factors) for projects affecting Warehouse function
- Work with necessary SMEs and partners (Platform Managers, Product Managers, Architects, Change Lead, QC Lead, Designers, Data Scientists …) to provide ranged estimate, assess feasibility - timeline - complexity - - risk - resource needs for the identified scenarios
- Lead use case definition and solution scenario definition and selection
- Define the product team for Warehouse projects (to have as much as possible a dedicated team with a Developer, a Designer, and a Tester). Support project product teams during the project life cycle.
- Contribute to retrospectives and demos on Warehouse Applications
- Contribute to change management activities, from innovation phases till deployment to Production, including handover to operations and Support team
- Support Product Designers activities and ensure collaboration and knowledge transfer between them.
- Manage product backlog creation, organization and prioritization and mapping out the dependencies with ongoing or future projects
- Ensure consistency between different applications for the Warehouse user groups
- Coordinate with the Platform Manager the prioritization of regional and small demands; and organize assessment
- Ensure transparency and communication of the Product vision, backlog and road map to the product team, partners and users
- Search for valuable product evolution, through animation of Product user group Network or interaction with Architects, or explorations based on users understanding and market / technology trends. Encourage product designers to search for improvement ideas.
- Determine, Measures And Shares Product benefits & adoption Indicators to contribute to change management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of applications and products in Warehouse. Encourage product designers to search for improvement ideas.
- Model and map our processes related to the Logistics function
- Contribute to build Release Plan and Communicate it to the Warehouse partners
- Is Responsible for Warehouse application documentation (creation and maintenance)
- Contribute to Communities of Practices around product management
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering and/or business school or equivalent is an advantage
- 5 years working in IT environment
- 5 SAP experience (MM SD LE WM HUM)
- 2 years experience in Business Process Design / Modelling
- Workshop animation (design sprints, design thinking, creative problem solving) is an advantage
- Agile environment EXPERIENCE is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering and/or business school or equivalent is an advantage
- 5 years working in IT environment
