JOB SUMMARY
Join our team as an On-Call Banquet Cashier, where you'll handle financial transactions at banquet events. Responsibilities include processing payments, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment from banquet guests.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guests' inquiries and resolving payment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
• Communicate effectively with banquet staff to coordinate payments and ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all financial policies and procedures, including confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Resolve any discrepancies or problems with payments promptly and professionally.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
On-call banquet cashiers entail prolonged standing and occasional lifting of cash drawers.
