Looking for an Optometric Technician to assist Independent Doctor of Optometry inside Target Optical. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES would include, but not limited to the following:

* Interacting with patients and discussing patient copays and doctor instructions

* To assist in scheduling patients, patient check-in/out, obtaining insurance authorizations, pre-testing patients, case history

* Utilizing diagnostic equipment

* Contact lens training and dispensing

* Maintaining Contact Lens inventory

* Using Excel, Electronic Billing, Daily reconciling, scanning charts

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:* High School Diploma or higher.

* PREVIOUS OD tech experience Preferred but will train the right candidate

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:* Must be positive, pleasant, courteous, and be able to MULTI-TASK in an EFFICIENT & fast-paced manner* Attentive to DETAIL, strong listener/communicator* Self motivated, SELF-DIRECTED* Must be fully committed to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service *Care and Interest in Optical field

Needs reliable transportation. 1 year work experience desired but not necessary. Pay scale based on experience and skill. Part-time hours needed. Email resume please.
