Full Time position available for friendly, energetic, and personable individual to greet, register, and coordinate patient care in private optometry practice.
Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, answering the phone, booking appointments, explaining entry paperwork, computer data entry, collecting fees, filing, checking insurance authorizations, ordering supplies, manage patient communications and recall, assisting the doctor with patient care, and assisting other staff as needed.
Applicant needs to have excellent customer service skills, professional appearance and demeanor, be detail oriented, have strong math and computer data entry skills, and have excellent verbal and communication skills. Some training will be provided in all technical aspects related to job position.
Previous experience in a medical setting or customer service position preferred.
