DPS Group Projects is Hiring a Marketing Manager Near Overland Park, KS
The Marketing Manager will lead local Marketing activities and branding initiatives to support our Overland Park office and Midwest region. Responsible for partnering with office leadership and discipline leads to develop and execute marketing strategy. You will develop, maintain, and execute marketing materials and programs including but not limited to proposals, advertising, press releases, direct email/mail, social media, conferences, and tradeshow strategy, exhibits and promotional materials, statements of qualification and brochures. Responsible for growing and leading a marketing team to support operations.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Proposals:
- Coordinates proposals/presentations including scheduling proposal preparation milestones and reviews, conducting reviews. Work with project managers and business development team to ensure quality material is submitted and delivered on schedule.
- Supports the project management and business development teams with proposal strategies, pursuit efforts, and kick-off meetings when needed.
- Researches, gathers, and edits proposal materials, including leveraging templates and language from previous similar projects. soliciting feedback from key process stakeholders to make project specific adjustments to templates, and formatting proposal information.
Marketing & Branding:
- Collaborate with office leadership to develop and execute a local and regional marketing strategy.
- Attend and represent DPS at local or regional industry events as needed.
- Liaison with corporate marketing efforts, represent the region to corporate & being responsible ensuring corporate branding quality standards on all regional efforts.
- Coordinate regional social media (LinkedIn) activities including posting content, monitoring industry experts, customers etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related degree and 8 years’ marketing and communications experience. Or in lieu of a degree, 6 years’ related experience.
- Experience in Life Science, advanced manufacturing, or professional engineering services preferred but not required.
