Location: 2395 W. Utopia Road, Phoenix AZ 85027
Starting Pay: $18.00 hr.
Job Outline
- Inventory control, warehouse organization, and shipping/receiving
- Assist mailroom with product fulfillment and other mailing projects, as needed fill in as a back-up driver
- Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover and physical capabilities of facilities
- Examine and inspect stock items for defects keeping a detailed log for reporting any damage to manager
- Complete receiving forms, mark stock items before putting in designated area of warehouse, update pallet and racking identification boards
- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse making sure inventory is adjusted accordingly
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies, reconciling inventory monthly
- Help with light maintenance/facility duties, such as changing light bulbs, moving office equipment, assembling furniture, etc.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of warehouse experience
- Must be organized, self-starter, able to motivate staff, ability to complete all work with deadlines on a daily basis
- Able to prioritize work load
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must have a clean driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Dependable
