Job Details
Work arrangement:
- Hybrid; onsite 2 days/week.
- Local candidates (1.5 hours commute max)
- W2 position; 12 months
- The Business Analyst will support multiple projects for the Agency.
- Act as a business analyst for various in-flight projects, including Software as a Service solutions, vendor supported systems, and custom web applications.
- Serve as a liaison between the agency s business partners and development teams, gathering requirements from the business users, facilitating meetings, writing user stories, and developing required project documentation deliverables.
- 5 years of experience designing technical and business requirement documentation (mockups, business process models, workflow diagrams, etc.)
- 5 years of experience with Agile methodology/Scrum processes and ceremonies including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning and Reviews, etc.
- 5 years of experience gathering requirements from users (GAP analysis, SWOT analysis, assessing business needs, etc.)
- 3 years of experience working with Azure DevOps backlog management, Kanban board, Sprint board, etc.
- Senior level understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 5 years of experience gathering requirements from users:
- identifying impacted business processes
- assessing business needs
- identifying IT solution integration.
- GAP analysis
- SWOT analysis
- 5 years of experience designing technical and business requirement documentation including:
- wireframes or screen mockups,
- context diagrams
- benefits realization
- business process models
- workflow diagrams
- traceability matrix
- 5 years of experience with Agile methodology / Scrum processes and ceremonies including:
- Daily Scrum
- Sprint Planning
- Backlog Grooming
- Sprint Reviews
- Sprint Retrospective
- 3 years of experience working with Azure DevOps backlog management, Kanban board, Sprint board, etc.
- 5 years of experience eliciting and decomposing requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Experience writing test plans and use cases.
- Working knowledge of Systems Engineering Methodology (SEM) and Project Management Methodology (PMM)
- Senior level understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
