As our Quality Control Lead you will assist in overseeing QC Technicians to ensure a smooth workflow throughout our QC department. Our QC Lead is responsible for providing QC team members with guidance, instruction, and training.

**Your Challenge:**

This is a hands-on position - the QC Lead will be an active member of day-to-day operation of the factory floor

Motivates QC team to perform at their best as they follow test plans and procedures consistently while creating a supportive team environment

Work closely with Production leadership to plan daily workflow

Oversee day-to-day operations of the team; work with the QC and Service Operations Supervisor to improve inefficiencies and concerns

Alerts the QC Supervisor of any unusual or concerning results discovered by the QC Techs; works with the QC and Service Operations Supervisor as well as engineering and manufacturing in assessment and resolution.

Assist the QC Supervisor with workload scheduling of the QC inspection team

Provide coaching and direction to employees; work with the management to identify development and/or training needs for employees

Responsible for inventory management

Process and review sales order documentation

Present quality status to Production leadership on a regular basis

Know, practice, and be an advocate of all site safety rules and regulations

Performance requires physical attendance

Performance requires extended hours and occasional weekend work

Other duties as assigned

**Your Expertise:**

3 years QC or testing experience Preferred

1 years of Lead experience is preferred

3 years of experience in electronics and/or mechanical assembly environment

Experience with PC hardware

Experience with Networking Devices (switches, routers, firewalls) is a plus

Demonstrated ability to meet and maintain high quality standards

Experience with simple mechanical inspection

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

Experience with simple electronic measurement instruments

Skilled computer operator proficient with Microsoft Windows and office platforms

Independent professional that can perform job assignment with limited supervision, self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines

Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while multi-tasking in a dynamic environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds of test equipment at least 40 feet

Touch typist minimum of 25 to 30 WPM

Accuracy and attention to detail is a must

Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage all deadlines
