DCP is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for our Early Childhood Programs. This is a position for highly organized and detail-oriented candidate looking for a fast-paced work environment with general administrative responsibilities along with data entry and management of our child and family database.

Responsibilities:

• Provides a wide range of complex administrative, management and clerical tasks in support of the Early Childhood Programs Division.
• Requires considerable discretion, judgment, tact, diplomacy, and accuracy.
• Gathers, assembles, and analyses information and data from a wide variety of sources.
• Coordinates preparation of reports, policies, procedures, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years' experience in a non-profit or social service field.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines required.
• Must be computer literate and have ability to learn and use a variety of programs.
• Knowledge of Head Start and early care and education preferred.
• Must pass background checks
