Maintenance Technician

Eurasia Feather, Inc, a leading supplier to the bedding and apparel industry, seeks a Maintenance Technician for its production facility.

Position is accountable for maintenance of equipment and facilities, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance procedures. Maintenance budget and capital projects as applicable.

Successful candidates will have knowledge and experience with general maintenance and demonstrated effective communication skills with internal and external customers.

Requirements Knowledge and skills identified are acquired through the completion of high school education and some technical training. Previous maintenance experience is helpful.

In addition, the position requires the ability to troubleshoot general maintenance problems, read and follow detailed instructions, and follow and adhere to safety guidelines.

The position entails exposure to down, feathers, dust, oils, and chemicals. Work generally performed by standing, climbing, lifting, moving heavy equipment and materials, stooping, and bending.

The position will be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
