Dougherty County is Hiring a Human Resources Specialist II Near Albany, GA

The Dougherty County Human Resources Department has a vacancy for a Human Resources Specialist II.Employee in this position is responsible for, but not limited to: implementing, administering, and monitoring employee core benefits for Medical, Dental, Vision and Life insurance programs which includes eligibility, enrollment, filing, tracking and reporting, premium deductions, reimbursements and fees, billing reconciliation, and authorizations to process payment of invoices and claims; providing customer service, training, advisory and consultative services to employees, management, retirees, third party administrators (TPAs), legal agents, outside agencies, consultants and any other entities on issues related to core benefits; and planning and coordinating the Annual Open Enrollment process, employee Wellness Program, employee support sessions with TPAs and other related health and wellness events.Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or Office Administration with four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources or related experience; or any related equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the duties of the position. Must be competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficient in benefits management preferred. Requires excellent interpersonal, administrative and computer skills.
