The Dougherty County Tax Department has a vacancy for a Real Property Data Collector.Employee in this position is responsible for, but not limited to: locating non-taxable properties listed in the Dougherty County Real Property Digest; measuring and collecting information related to the construction of structures and entering that data into the automated appraisal system to produce a fair market value of the property; reviewing exempt property status to determine if resident is non-taxable; addressing the Board of Tax Assessors in regards to exempt properties and any other related duties; compiling, sorting and verifying accuracy of data before it is entered; and storing completed documents in appropriate locations.High school diploma or GED required and one (1) year of specialized training with emphasis in Business Administration or closely related field with one (1) year of administrative experience; or any related equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skill and ability to do the work of the position.
