Set up of Banquet Room and serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner in accordance with LHM's high standards of quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, serviceware and glassware.

2. Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars, including guest and hotel expectations.

3. Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.

4. Serve the food and/or beverage in the order and to the expectation of the Banquet Captain to ensure consistency throughout the banquet. Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or function.

5. Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.

6. Once banquet is complete, reset banquet room according to Captain's specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function.

Set Up

To manually set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms in accordance with LHM's high standards of quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Communicates continually with supervisor during shift to ensure the accurate set up of function rooms.

2. Set up all meeting/function rooms to guest specifications. This involves considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., from storage area to meeting rooms.

3. Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.

4. Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.

5. Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.

Pay: $15.50 per hour
