Night Auditor

Location: Montgomery, AL, 36104

Job Description:

The Night Auditor is responsible for conducting nightly audits of the hotel's financial and operational activities. This includes verifying and balancing guest accounts, reviewing and reconciling daily transactions, and preparing reports for management. The Night Auditor also assists with guest check-in and check-out, responds to guest inquiries and complaints, and ensures the safety and security of the hotel and its guests during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nightly audits of hotel financial and operational activities
• Verify and balance guest accounts
• Review and reconcile daily transactions
• Prepare reports for management
• Assist with guest check-in and check-out
• Respond to guest inquiries and complaints
• Ensure safety and security of hotel and guests during overnight shift

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in hotel front desk or accounting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
• Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends
