We are looking for a skilled, passionate and senior JavaScript developer to join our core platform automation frameworks engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Javascript, Node.js and testing. The primary objective of this role is to design and develop advanced testing frameworks for our front-end applications, ensuring their robustness and reliability throughout the development lifecycle. These test frameworks will be instrumental in ensuring the correctness and reliability of some of the most renowned and high-performance digital publishing websites on the internet.
Expected Contributions:
Develop high-quality, well-structured, and maintainable code using JavaScript and Node.js ecosystem.
Create and maintain robust testing/automation frameworks to support unit/components level testing for front-end applications.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JEST and JUnit to ensure code quality and application stability.
Collaborate with other developers, product owners, and senior stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and specifications.
Make informed design and architectural decisions, contributing to the overall direction and growth of the project.
Act as a self-starter, taking initiative in identifying, prioritizing, and addressing problems and opportunities for improvement.
Display strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, troubleshoot issues, perform debugging and root-cause analysis, and propose innovative solutions.
Work in a highly iterative Agile environment; participate in refinement, planning, daily huddles, and retrospective meetings.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay Range
Salary: $83,000 - $115,000The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees.
