The Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) and Business to Business (B2B) Site Manager is part of the e-commerce team and is responsible for driving, implementing, and managing site initiatives across the company's portfolio of owned digital properties.
In this role you will work cross-functionally with brand leaders across the organization to build and execute the DTC & B2B digital business strategy and growth plan. You would also be responsible for understanding and analyzing the key drivers of our DTC & B2B business by continuously enhancing the customer shopping experience through navigation, site content, product launches, promotions, and SEO. This role will collaborate on decisions related to assortment, UX, promotions and marketing and own the execution of site related activities to achieve our DTC & B2B digital business objectives.
Major Responsibilities:
· Manage Petmate-owned digital properties. (Petmate.com/Petmatepartners.com)
· Develop and execute a monthly E-Mail/SMS calendar for brand building and promotional communication.
· Partner with agency on SEO tactics as needed
· Utilize keyword research and application using the Google Keyword Tool.
· Use Google AdWords, Display Ads, Retargeting, PLA’s, Meta, GMC
· Website maintenance, new landing page and PDP creation, promotions implementation, load updated product level content. Edit copy as needed to fit site requirements.
· Conduct regular reviews of analytics and site use to improve page flow and increase conversion and share with cross functional partners.
· Collaborate with customer service team to gain insight into interactions to gauge website and product needs.
· Partner and coordinate with the Brand Marketing team on business priorities: (eg: new product launch, brand activation, seasonality)
· Collaborate with the fulfillment and shipping team to ensure execution of orders, and areas of performance improvement.
· Collaborate with appropriate team members on returned product management.
· Execution of Affiliate marketing programs
Skills:
· Content writing skills for both business customers and consumers
· Understanding of site analytics data toward continual growth and sales improvements.
· Working knowledge of DAM and PIM platforms
· Website management, content production, email marketing, web analytics (GA, GTM, GMC, SEM, and SEO skills and knowledge
· Experience with platforms such as Shopify , Magento, Big Commerce, or other similar e-commerce platforms.
· Experience working with email and SMS platforms such as Klayvio, and Attentive.
· Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
· Flexibility, creativity, highly motivated, high-energy level, and a drive for results attitude.
· Google Analytics knowledge
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated presentation skills.
· Strong MS Office Skills Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Teams are essential.
· Basic skills in HTML and photo editing (Photoshop) would be helpful.
· Affiliate marketing platform and program management working with a third-party agency or by in-house execution.
· Project management expertise with an ability to drive projects forward; attention to detail a must.
· Good decision-making based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment.
· Ability to cultivate a collaborative and cooperative spirit with open communication.
· Stay current with eCommerce/digital marketing trends, tools, and experiences, and apply insights/learnings to drive future strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Communications, Marketing, Digital Retailing or similar field or equivalent experience in a related field
· 2-3 years of experience in eCommerce, with functional experience as a DTC site manager or other relevant experience
· Experience solving complex problems using data-driven decision-making skills.
· Interpersonal savvy: effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions.
· Strong marketing sensibility and ability to balance content and commerce.
· Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills
