Vendor Specialist - eCommerce (Hybrid - Wright City, MO)

Position Summary

To maintain/build sales in Mass and Discount Retail segment by managing dotcom accounts and maintaining customer satisfaction. This position is in Wright City, MO.

Essential Job Functions

  • Order Management
    • Communicate with Customers/Vendors through email, customer portals and phone.
    • Part of a large order processing team.
    • Vendor customer service duties, not a call center.
    • Research problem orders and available resolutions
    • Maintain Customer website portals (Walmart.com, Amazon, Wayfair, etc.)
    • Correct and release all orders on hold.
    • Monitor inventory feeds for accuracy.
    • Communicate with shipping department, Sales Representatives and Customer Relations.
    • Required written correspondence.
  • Relationship Management
    • Develop strong cross functional relationships with the all-customer, Sales, cross-functional teams, including Inventory Management, Sales, Accounting and Operations.
    • Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners.

Other Responsibilities

  • Administrative responsibilities as noted/but not limited to:
    • Reporting
    • Handling customer/sales rep phone calls
    • Back up to the front desk as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements
    • High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior Experience
    • 3-5 years' experience within a customer service operation.
  • Necessary Skills
    • Strong internal customer focus and attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Advanced Microsoft skills, including pivot tables, macros, etc.
    • Experience in PIMS software is a plus.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbal
    • Excellent listening and organization skills
    • Self-starter who effectively manages their own priorities and activities
    • Use selling skills to upgrade orders, substitute products, turn inquiries into orders and introduce new products.
    • Maintain existing customer base through proper servicing and complaint handling skills.
    • Handle special assignments as needed.
