About the Team

On the Inside Sales team, our mission is to promote growth in local economies by building connections with businesses across the nation and promoting the DoorDash platform. Stationed locally, this team owns new business development by creating deep partnerships with the most coveted local and regional restaurants across the US. 

About the Role

We are looking for an Outbound Account Executive (AE) to join our Inside Sales team. As an Account Executive, you are responsible for bringing on the best local and regional small and mid-size merchants onto DoorDash. You will own the complete sales process from start to finish while operating in a transactional deal cycle. You will focus on messaging, prospecting, qualifying, and closing partnerships with prospective merchants while promoting the DoorDash brand. 

You will report into the Inside Sales Manager where you'll have direct access to grow your career to the next level. We expect this role to be flexible with time spent remote/in-office with the ability to travel as needed for in-person collaboration through training, offsites, team-building events, and other business related necessity.

  • Lead the full sales cycle to attain new business from small to midsize merchants

  • Make a high volume of calls and emails to prospects daily

  • You have 1 years of experience in high-volume outbound dialing
  • You value collaboration in environments
  • You can navigate sales and internal tools quickly (Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, Google Apps)
