About the Role:

As the General Manager, you'll be at the center of our thriving door refinishing business, driving operations from concept to completion. Your role is pivotal in nurturing client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, guiding your team, and propelling the business forward, with a strong emphasis on sales and estimating.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the onboarding, training, and certification of new associates to maintain brand excellence.
• Ensure top-notch door refinishing services that meet brand standards and exceed client expectations.
• Prioritize safety and well-being, taking swift action when necessary.
• Hone leadership skills across both mobile and brick-and-mortar environments.
• Cultivate community relationships for referral opportunities.
• Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets to drive business growth.
• Maintain open communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with franchise owners to discuss performance metrics.
• Oversee all daily business operations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Hands-on involvement in door refinishing processes, including sanding, stripping, staining, and varnishing.
• Uphold health, safety, and quality standards throughout operations.
• Deliver top-tier client service through exemplary conduct.
• Focus on recruitment, team development, and fostering long-term client relationships.
• Manage supply orders and maintain equipment standards.
• Actively participate in business expansion activities, from client interactions to event promotions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols for all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven management experience, preferably in mobile or physical store businesses.
• Familiarity with the door refinishing industry is beneficial.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of team motivation and development.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective multitasking, prioritization, and time-management capabilities.
• Solid problem-solving skills, even under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Physical stamina for job-related tasks, including bending, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and prolonged standing.
