Donut Star is an award winning local donut shop and bakery in Burnsville. We pride ourselves on high quality donuts and other pastries all made in-house with passion and care.
Our shop is growing to a second location in Lakeville, and with that expansion, we need a strong leader to round out our team.
That's where you come in! We're currently seeking a Full-Time Assistant Bakery Manager to join our team. We're looking for someone passionate, who would like to help us expand our operation and grow with us.

As the Assistant Bakery Manager you'll work directly with our Executive Chef and Sous Chef to operate the bakery, help manage a small team, and develop new menu items.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing production to ensure bakery items are completed and ready for service each day
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Supervising hourly staff
- Ensuring our standards for quality and consistency are met with each and every item, every day
- Minimizing waste, and controlling food costs
- Consulting with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Store Manager to ensure issues are handled with care and immediacy
- Being the leader in the kitchen any time the Executive Chef or Sous is not present

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
