The Role

Donorbox is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing team and drive the development and execution of marketing strategies. You will play a key role in elevating our messaging and branding on our landing pages.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
    • Formulate comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with our growth managers and lead the development and execution of advertising campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive user acquisition.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
    • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to team members, ensuring the achievement of marketing objectives.
  • Advertising Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of advertising, including digital, social media, print, and other channels.
    • Analyze campaign performance metrics and implement data-driven optimizations to maximize ROI.
  • Brand Development:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional creative team to ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing channels.
    • Working with our brand director to drive initiatives to enhance brand awareness and affinity among target audiences.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and conduct market research to identify growth opportunities.
    • Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
    • Provide regular financial reports and insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaboration with Partners:
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key external partners, agencies, and vendors.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives.
  • Event Management and Client Engagement:
    • Represent the company at conferences and industry events to enhance brand visibility and foster networking opportunities
    • Meet with top clients to understand our customers fully, gathering insights to inform marketing strategies and enhance customer experience

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • Proven experience (4 years) in a leadership role within marketing, with a focus on advertising and marketing analytics
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends, platforms, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful advertising campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in the nonprofit or fundraising sector is a plus.
  • Experience with SaaS companies is a plus
  • Experience with B2B brands is a plus

Details

  • Fully remote based in the US (preferably in EST time zone)
  • Salary: $100,000-$150,000, based on experience and location Equity
