Description

Scope of Responsibilities:

The Director of Marketing will play a key role in driving awareness and engagement for the association's products, programs and services. 

  • Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that reach target audiences and achieve association’s revenue goals. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal marketing support, including serving as the marketing subject matter expert and maintaining a high-level of customer service across the department.

Duties:

  • Primary duties include:
  • Develop and execute a data-driven marketing strategy across all channels, including digital, content, social media and events, in support of registration and/or revenue goals for AGC’s products, programs and services.
  • Lead and manage the marketing team 
  • Develop and manage the association's marketing budget
  • Develop and manage processes for internal support requests 
  • Identify and manage projects with outside vendors 
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns for AGC’s products, programs and services.
  • Generating copy 
  • Graphic design 
  • Email/template creation 
  • Analyze data and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success 
  • Oversee AGC’s core marketing assets, including:
  • Manage the association's brand identity 
  • Manage/support association’s marketing-related third-party platforms, including email marketing, mobile app, event microsites/registration, and digital advertising 
  • Working in partnership with AGC’s IT department, provide expertise and guidance to AGC’s web properties and overall online presence 
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies
  • Represent the association at industry events and trade shows
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven track record of developing, implementing and managing successful marketing campaigns required
  • Experience with digital marketing, content marketing, event marketing, and graphic design (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator required)
  • Experience with e-mail marketing platforms and marketing automation tools required
  • Ability to manage team and stakeholder expectations and coach them on industry best practices
  • Exceptional customer service skills a must
  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills required
  • Must be highly organized and able to quickly prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative, upbeat work ethic where you can take ownership of projects and have fun
  • A minimum of 7 years of related experience, preferably in a non-profit or association setting
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred
