I am working on behalf of an organisation with over three decades experience in Home Health. They specialise in Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy etc. in six counties in Central/Northern Florida.

The role:

· Strategic Leadership: Providing strategic direction and leadership to the nursing team, setting goals, and ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and objectives.

· Clinical Oversight: Overseeing the clinical aspects of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting evidence-based practices.

· Team Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and other healthcare professionals. Conducting performance evaluations and fostering a positive work environment.

· Care Coordination: Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and caregivers, to coordinate patient care plans and optimize outcomes.

· Quality Assurance: Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, reviewing clinical outcomes, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

Required competencies:

· Home Health/Home Care experience

· Previous experience in Central/Northern Florida would be beneficial

· Previous experience as a Director of Nursing is essential

· Hot on compliance

· People management

· Positive person who enjoys their job
