Our busy restaurant is looking for hosts / bussers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will provide a great experience to our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are greeted in a friendly manner and seated promptly. You will also assist in other areas of customer service and provide support to the service staff and other restaurant areas. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Responsibilities
Cheerfully welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them and meet any special requirements or requests.
Inform servers quickly of any new seatings while maintaining proper seating rotation.
Quickly clean and reset tables, chairs and floor after guests’ departure to minimize wait times for seating.
Establish a full knowledge of menu all items, ingredients, daily specials, payment methods to assist the service staff and respond to client inquiries and make recommendations.
Assist service staff by running food, refilling soft drinks, processing payments and clearing dishes as needed.
Perform restocking of service areas (silverware, dishes, ice bins, coffee, condiments, etc.) as needed
Ensure the cleanliness of the outside entrance, lobby, restrooms, and dining room areas throughout shift
Assist with carry-out and phone orders as necessary.
Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities.
Qualifications
Cheerful, outgoing personality that loves working with people.
Previous experience working in food service is preferred, but not required.
Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality.
Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Some additional shifts may be required based on business levels
