Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, and lattes - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness and functionality - Handle food items, such as pastries or sandwiches, and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any questions or concerns - Process customer payments using the POS system (Aloha POS) and handle cash transactions - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely service - Upsell additional products or promotions to customers Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate - Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and familiarity with different coffee beans and flavors - Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing - Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS) is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Join our team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional coffee experiences.
