Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate will have excellent bartending skills, strong customer service abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of current drink offerings, including specials and promotions
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is preferred but not required
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food service procedures is a plus
- Experience in banquet or catering settings is an advantage
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service
