Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all food safety and beverage handling procedures
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash register or POS system
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks
- Familiarity with brewing processes and different types of alcoholic beverages
- Proficient in retail math for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
