Dog Haus Biergarten in Central Park is seeking a daytime Assistant General Manager with an emphasis on back of the house and kitchen responsibilities.

Dog Haus is a fast casual concept specializing in the creation of gourmet hot dog, sausage, and burger builds. The first location opened in Pasadena in 2010, and the brand has grown to over 60 locations in 11 states. The Central Park location features a full bar with 24 beers on tap. This location also runs several virtual brands including the acclaimed Bad Ass Breakfast Burritos concept.

Job Summary

We are seeking someone with prior management in a busy restaurant with extensive knowledge of kitchen flow and management. Front of the house experience is a plus but not required. Bilingual a plus as well. Shifts will be during breakfast and lunch from 7am-3pm, with longer shifts occasionally required.

Essential Functions

• Increasing kitchen efficiency and flow through Dog Haus culinary standards
• Working with kitchen team to maintain proper food holding and service standards
• Submitting food orders to vendor twice per week
• Managing catering orders
• Staffing and scheduling kitchen team to optimize labor and efficiency
• Creating and maintaining operating procedures in line with Dog Haus standards
• Maintaining a culture of teamwork while running a clean and efficient kitchen

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of high-volume management with a kitchen background
• Valid food handler’s card
• Bilingual a plus

Pay: $22 - $24 per hour
