Transmission/Engine/Diesel Specialty Technician

Doenges Ford and Doenges Toyota are seeking top-level mechanics who specialize in major engine and transmission repairs. This position performs specified Heavy Line, Engine, Transmission, and other Customer Pay and Warranty services to dealership and manufacturer specifications. You will communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed of needed services and provide an estimate of the time needed for repairs.

Qualifications

• Manufacturer or ASE certification in Heavy Line Specialties, Toyota and Ford experience an advantage;
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills;
• Organizational, decision making and problems solving skills;
• Computer & phone skills;
• Ability to communicate with service advisors, customers, and management;
• Ability to learn product knowledge and follow processes and direction;
• Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic in a team environment;
• Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to or exceeding 50 lbs.;
• Willing to submit to background checks and drug screenings;
• Valid driver's license required and clean driving record for a minimum of three years;
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
