Dockside Bensalem, an upscale-casual restaurant located on the banks of the Neshaminy Creek, is in search of a General Manager! After a busy first year, with a lot of success, we are gearing up for a lot of business including in house dining, special events and banquets.

Our GM must have management experience in the restaurant business. Servsafe, RAMP or TIPS certification is positive but not a requirement as we will put you through these steps in the first 3 months. Managers must possess good organizational skills, be able to take direction, follow through on tasks, be creative with promotional ideas to assist in driving business.

• Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
• Being responsible for the management team as whole
• Training staff to follow restaurant procedures
• Maintaining safety and food quality standards
• Keeping customers happy and handling complaints
• Organizing schedules
• Recording payroll data
• Overseeing the ordering food, linens, smallwares and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
• Supervising daily shift operations
• Ensuring all end of day cash outs are correctly completed
• Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
• Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste
• Appraising staff performance
• Interviewing/recruiting new employees
• Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels

Nights, weekends and Holidays are a must though schedule will be flexible. Benefits and vacation accrual are available from day one.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
