Position Summary

Work with Business Development and Property Tax divisions to help identify business opportunities and create tax savings propositions for prospective clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings with regional property tax consultants to understand local tax issues, assessment trends, savings opportunities, and desired types of clients
• Utilize commercial real estate data services and jurisdictional websites to obtain property-specific information
• Extract, organize and format both tax and assessment data into Excel
• Analyze data and identify potential leads using various real estate valuation methodologies
• Condense information, highlight valid business reasons, and deliver leads to Property Tax and Business Development teams

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-3 years professional experience in property valuation, property tax, real estate or accounting preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Familiarity with CoStar preferred
• Exceptional organizational and research skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously
