DLP Services, LLC is currently accepting applications for the position of:
POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Assistant
Location: Del Rio, TX FLSA: Non-Exempt
Hire Pay: $17-20hr.
Classification: Full time
JOB SUMMARY: Assists with the staffing and pre-hire activities, including coordinating the background screening process. Ability to execute and support HR initiatives, policies, and procedures Leadership and training abilities
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation Composure and confidentiality on disciplinary and grievance issues Maintains reports and responds to internal and external requests for information. Administrative duties including maintaining employee records, EEO data, etc. Compliance with all policies and legal requirements Additional responsibilities as assigned by HR Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive information and function well in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel Spreadsheets, Dropbox
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives supervision from the Human Resources Director. The position has formally assigned supervisory responsibility. Must complete jobs without constant supervision. WORKING CONDITIONS: The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor office environment. ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY: This position is subject to the DLP Services LLC, Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing. Education and Experience: Bachelor of Business Administration or two years experience in a related field. Problem solver with excellent time management and organizational skills. Must be bi-lingual.
