Overview

The TCAC FoS consists of the Remote Analysis Workstation (RAWS), Transportable Workstation (TWS), and the Cross Domain Solution (CDS) main system components. The operating systems in the TCAC FoS include Physical Operating System Environments (POSE) and Virtual Operating System Environments (VOSE) that consist of Microsoft Windows, Oracle Java and RedHat Linux. There are Commercial and Government Off-the-Shelf applications on the classified TCAC baseline that range from Unclassified to Top Secret classification levels. The system connects to Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information networks to include classified tactical networks.

The TCAC FoS is fielded to the United States Marine Corps Radio Battalions (RadBn) and Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC). The TCAC FoS is a computer-based Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)/Electronic Warfare (EW) fusion center that provides automated SIGINT processing, analysis, and reporting capabilities. The system is configured to operate in a distributed mode and can automatically accept, process, correlate, and geographically display air, surface, subsurface, and emitter and sensor reports. The Fleet Marine Force (FMF) RadBns and MARSOC use the TCAC FoS capabilities to provide timely and accurate SIGINT/EW support to Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) combat operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide all software design artifacts to include user stories, user interface flow diagrams (storyboards), user interface prototypes, data flow diagrams, and usage scenarios (CDRL T009).
• Support for the following software-related activities:

a) Analysis and Requirements

b) Software Development

c) Software Testing

d) Configuration Management

e) Documentation

f) Project Management

g) Post Deployment Software Support.

• Provide a technical presence at NIWC Atlantic and Project Office (PO) designated meetings.
• Provide development, submission, and monitoring of software development specific to the TCAC baseline development efforts.
• Provide a technical presence with interface or integration efforts, as directed by NIWC Atlantic or the PO.
• Participate in the development of new analysis functionality and new logic to process new data formats TCAC hardware which includes a Windows-based laptop, and a Windows-based server.
• Maintain and enhance the Marine Corps Collection and Analysis Tool (MCCAT) application.
• Ensures interoperability with new data formats from sensors as well as interoperability with exporting data to work with 3rd party analysis applications.
• Ensure the data processing logic in MCCAT is updated to maintain interoperability.

Qualifications

• Java knowledge and experience.
• SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS knowledge a plus.
• Software development knowledge: GIT, IntelliJ IDEA, Maven, Spring Framework, JavaFx.
• Prior experience with USMC SIGINT Systems or MCCAT a plus.
• Three (3) years' experience required; 7 years desired.
• BS degree required, Computer Science or IT desired.
• Must have Active TS/SCI clearance walking through the door.
