As a Registered Nurse, this role involves delivering high-quality and transparent clinical mental health services to fulfill the needs of Diversus Health's clients. Duties include...

• Performs independent nursing assessments accurately documenting findings, communicating critical information, differentiating conditions/symptoms reporting findings to the treatment team and following up with triaged, appropriate clinical interventions to stabilize and treat clients.
• Provides direct client care to include but not limited to vital signs, medication injections, basic nursing and hygiene care, EKG, lab specimen collections, medication administration with follow-up assessments, crisis care, CPR/ First Aid as clinically indicated and/or ordered by prescriber.
• Conducts vital signs, medication reconciliation, check-in and check-out processes, and/or admissions and discharges under ordered protocols, conduct testing and assessments under ordered protocols
• Analyzes and documents findings of medical and medication management, performs mental and substance use assessments
• Collaborates with other team members to conduct comprehensive, client assessments and develops treatment plans, including providing care coverage across multiple service lines
• Provides consumers and families with education on psychotropic medications, and related health conditions and monitors medication compliance; supports and provides quality client care through effective assessment, and individual and supportive therapies.
• Assists in the management of psychiatric crisis; prepares written orders from the physician.
• Provides concurrent billing and medical/legal documentation meeting time and accuracy requirements.
• Performs client care optimizing client safety and risk reduction to include but not limited to reduction in health care errors, safety planning, following safety check protocols as ordered, seeking team collaboration or supervisor input for potentially risk situations, and continuously observing client behaviors, mental status, and activities.
• Applies understanding of how to safely handle crisis situations involving escalated clients

Qualifications:

• RN Licensure in good standing and with no restrictions in the state of Colorado.
• Must have excellent communication skills verbally, and in writing, including adhering to professional documentation standards
• Critical thinking and ability to work unsupervised
• Collaboration mentality
• Have fundamental computer proficiency and can type at a speed of 25 words per minute for entering and retrieving client information via electronic records.
• Demonstrated experience using diverse treatment methods suitable for a diverse population, employing strength-based therapeutic methods.
• Proven experience in therapeutic work with a variety of individuals.
