Job Description Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a Network Sensor and Data Analyst to support our SHARKCAGE contract at the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) facility in San Diego, CA. PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilizes knowledge and experience with:
DoD security implementation including STIG, security tools, including HBSS, ACAS, and SIEM and Cloud security best practices
ACAS, SCAP, and DISA STIGs/SRGs
Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) network products, i.e. routers, switches, Network Time Protocol (NTP) servers, network management, and cryptographic equipment as well as engineering analysis of solutions
Routing protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol(BGP), and Multicast
Virtual Private Network (VPN), firewall, Access Control List (ACL) network switches, and Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity (CS)
NIST SP 800 series information security management aligned to Enterprise telecommunications and networks
Provides full on-site support at Old Town, with expected travel for installation approximately 1-3x/year
Requirements MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IAT Level II
Experience with routing protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol(BGP), and Multicast
One of the following: Juniper Enterprise Routing and Switching, Expert (JNCIE-ENT);Cisco Certified Architect; Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure Expert
Experience with Virtual Private Network (VPN),firewall, Access Control List (ACL) network switches, and Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity (CS)
Hands-on installation experience with military systems, to include taps, encryptors, switches, routers, and optical fiber
Secret required to begin work on-site, position requires TS-eligible or TS/SCI-eligible
DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Hands-on Navy installations experience, to include force/unit level or ashore locations, as limited travel for ashore and afloat is required
LAN and WAN architect, design, testing and evaluation, deployment and management experience
Experience with NIST SP 800 series information security management aligned to Enterprise telecommunications and networks
Experience with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) network products, i.e. routers, switches, Network Time Protocol (NTP) servers, network management, and cryptographic equipment
Test planning, execution, analysis, and documentation experience
Evaluate services and products provided by COTS/Government-Off The Shelf (GOTS) and provide recommendations
Experience developing CONOPS, Requirements, Basis of Design, and critical design documents and drawings for military systems
Network Tapping experience, i.e. SPAN, physical tap, virtual tap, etc.
In-line encryptor experience, i.e. TACLANE, High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE), etc.
Packet Capture technology and analysis experience
