The RN must possess the following:

• Passion to care for the children with healthcare/special needs & assist their families to care for them

• Strong desire to be on a mentorship program or be a mentor to novice team members

• Plan to grow professionally or specialize in pediatric healthcare nursing

• Compassionate, collaborative, engaged and knows patient experience/customer service

• Desire to be successful in the "only" Pediatric Nursing Residency Program in SNF for new graduates

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is needed, however ASN is accepted if you are in current enrollment in the BSN program & soon to finish.
• Current/active New York state board licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Computer literate
