HeartShare St. Vincent’s Services (HSVS) empowers youth and families to overcome the challenges of homelessness, family crises, addiction, mental illness and poverty. Founded in 1869 as St. Vincent’s Services in Downtown Brooklyn, we began as a home for “poor and friendless boys.” In 2014, HSVS was formed through an affiliation with HeartShare Human Services of New York. Through the affiliation, HSVS developed into a multi-program nonprofit agency with four divisions: Foster Care & Preventive Programs, Integrated Health Services, Housing & Residential Services and Youth & Community Programs. Across our agency, staff members serve our clients with compassion, respect and in collaboration with our outside partners. As we grow our Integrated Health Services program to provide high quality medical services to children and youth in foster care under the Article 29I License, we are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, who will report to the Medical Director. The Nurse Practitioner shall provide pediatric health care services and education to children and adolescents based upon their medical and psychosocial needs, and according to the standards established by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the New York City Administration for Children’s Services. Provision of services shall be in accord with all applicable Federal and State laws, rules and regulations and in compliance with patient’s Bill of Rights.
Hold a nurse practitioner degree from an accredited college/university.
Currently licensed and registered as a nurse practitioner with the NYS Education Department.
