The Registered Nurse Role:

Big Minds, Tiny Hands (www.bigmindstinyhands.com) is looking for Registered Nurses to provide direct services to children and their families in a Home Bases Setting in any of the 5 Boroughs of your choice. The right candidate must be available Full-Time 30-40 hrs. The Schedule is flexible and created by you and the parent, but you must be available to work 5 days a week.

• If a case for a child is 5 hours a week you must work 5 days a week every week for 1 hour each day and keep the same schedule each week with that child. If a case is 10 hours a week you must work 5 days a week for 2 hours each day with that same child. If you are unable to work 5 days a week this position is not for you. Once a case is taken it is ongoing each week until the child ages out of the program (You will have multiple cases with different children in order to provide 30-40 hours of full time work.

Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
• Seeking interventions for behavioral and developmental challenges.
• Educating children and their parents in helpful activities.
• Working Closely with and creating custom treatment plans for children between ages of 0-3.
• Communicating with parents.
• Recognizing critical improvements in patient behaviors.
• Staying up to date with the latest ABA-related information, techniques, and developments.
• Submitting all session notes and progress reports as required in the agency employment agreement.
