To assist our Business Operations teams, Discovery Education is seeking a Compliance Associate to process our domestic and international direct and third-party sales. The team members will ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and provide follow-up and oversight to ensure an accurate and efficient ordering process. This person should be willing to learn and grow within the organization.
These are key actions integral to the day-to-day business operations with our customers across USA, Canada, the UK, and Asia.
About the Role

• Manage a daily influx of Salesforce tasks that will include quote approval, order form generation, and reporting.
• Generate contract amendments.
• Serve as a resource for the Sales team to guide the documentation of Salesforce orders.
• Become well-versed in Salesforce.
• Understand and enforce product and pricing strategy.
• Provide additional support to the Business Operations teams, including processing purchase orders for deal close, assisting in hard goods production and fulfillment efforts, and other duties as they arise.
• Manage special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in similar role.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task between multiple projects within a fast-paced environment.
• Customer focused – able to effectively communicate with all levels both internally and with external customers.
• Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office experience.
• Prior experience with CRM systems, or Salesforce preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong interpersonal skills​
• Driven self-starter with the ability to do what needs to be done without being micromanaged.​
• ​Legal right to work in the United States​.
