We are now recruiting reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic Behavior Technicians for both Part-Time with opportunity for Full-Time work (after a few months, once caseload is established).
This is a great position for those that are college students pursuing Psychology, Human/Child Development, Speech and Language Pathology, social work, early childhood education, or for paraprofessionals in school districts. Part time work is flexible around your class schedule!

As a Behavior Technician you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct 1:1 services, implementing programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) that are developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in a clinic, school, home, and/or community setting
- Teaching skills such as language development, play skills, self-help skills, and social interactions
- Collect accurate data on client's progress throughout the therapy session
Minimum Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent, some college is needed (depending on clients due to insurance requirements)
- WA Certified Behavior Technician licensure required, (We provide the training requirements and cover the application fees). $300 Sign-On Bonus for applicants with an active CBT Licensure!
- Physical Requirements: bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, turning, twisting, standing for extended periods, reaching, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work with challenging behaviors including tantrum and possible aggression -- training and support is always provided
- Able to pass criminal background check
- Under local state mandates from Washington and Oregon, all Discovery Behavior Solutions Employees must be fully vaccinated from COVID-19 at time of employment, unless otherwise exempt.
- Have reliable transportation and willing to travel throughout greater Vancouver, WA area.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work independently and complete necessary requirements specific to the client on a daily basis
